Aero Axis Link
East Africa's Cargo Voice
From the warehouse to the sky and back again — Aero Axis Link is an independent East African aviation and cargo research outlet. We don't just report the news. We analyse it through three lenses — Domestic before Continental, the Lift Test and Put the Clock On It — and we invite the people who know these airports best to correct us.
This Week's Spotlight: The Lift Test, Applied to Lodwar
Should an airstrip carry cargo? We put Lodwar, Turkana to the Lift Test: seven questions, a draft score built from public information, and the conditions that would make cargo work. Corrections welcome.
How We Work
One loop, four parts. We set out what would have to be true, and we show our working.
Domestic before Continental
What should a place fix at home before it chases regional and continental links? We start at the farm gate and the county, and build outward.
The Lift Test
Should this airstrip carry cargo, and under what conditions? Seven questions, scored from public information, with the conditions published alongside every score.
Put the Clock On It
Did the promised thing happen by the date given? We log official pledges, check back on schedule, and give credit when they are met.
Corrections Welcome
Authorities, operators and experts check our facts, not our scores. Every correction is logged publicly with its date, and the next score improves.
Note: The Lift Test is an in-house editorial framework developed by Aero Axis Link to analyse air freight economics. It is not an official industry or regulatory metric. Scores are drafts from public information.
Put the Clock On It
Dates that were given in public, and when we will look at them again. When one is met, we say so plainly.
